| Philips has advised consumers to:
Check the sticker on the base plate of the appliance for the type-number (e.g. HD7820) and the date code (e.g. 09123), and
If the type-number matches one of those listed above, contact the company by either visiting its website at www.senseorepair.ie or call the freephone number 1800 818 834, giving details and the date code
Philips has also advised that consumers could check online, if a unit is affected, by registering the product and providing contact information.
